tailshaft bushing/tranny mount/exhaust stress/atf drain plug 200 1989

not really, as I said in my post it went *well*.

One thing that took up some time was figuring out how to undo the bolts at the driveshaft flange connection... you DO NOT need to hold onto the nut. Just put the socket onto the bolt end and it will losten up nicely. Of course mark the position to put it back the same, and take note IF you have various size bolts for balancing... I did not.

My original seal had a metal outside sleave, needed to be punched from the back to come off the extension housing.

Use a large socket or something flat to drive in the new bushning... to remove the old one you can follow the directions in the FAQ, or I just put a flathead onto the hole i nthe inside and tapped it out with a hammer, worked fine, just do not scratch the surface of the housing.

Oh also I found it nice to jack up the car on only one rear side, support ot in various places. This way I was able to turn the wheel which turned the driveshaft (with car in neutral).

Good luck,
