Water heater valve

managed to get the one out of my parts car without having to remove anything else. I did this as a "dress rehearsal". Once its out it's really easy to see how to do it, but the position you have to get into to do it !!!! I'm still aching. The real one may take a little longer due to the extra levers around the valve, but I feel a lot more confident now. The one in the parts car looks brand new, so I'm tempted to fit that and see how long it goes for. I could go round peoples Volvo's doing this for a small fee ;) Took me 20 minutes to pop off the parts car one, most time was taken trying to line up the lugs, felt a bit like a safe cracker there. Also forgot to drain the system when pulling off the hose. Ever tried to get your head out from under the pedals and up the reclined seat while lying on your back in a hurry? You can't. Antifreeze makes a fine hair gel.
