No, I'm not trying to create a new argument, but here's a couple things to keep in mind.

Everything a car does - going, stopping, and turning - relies on those 4 little contact patches. And all it takes is one little accident to have erased any monetary savings from eeking a bit more out of old tires.

For around $40/ea. + shipping, consider a full new set of these Kumho 716's -

Keep the better of the old usable ones for spare/standby.
