Tiny little blinker problem 700 1987

Take off your steering wheel to see how it works. A tab on the steering wheel engages a plastic tab on the switch that sticks out when your signals are tuned on. The steering wheel tab hits the t/s tab and that returns the switch to nuetral. My guess is one of these tabs is broken. (likely the switch tab)The switch is easily replaced. Make sure it is in neutral when you put the wheel back on or you will break the tab on the new one.
Congrats on your purchase!
