pops out of gear 444-544

I have this problem with it slipping out of 3rd on decelleration. haven't heard of it "popping" out of 4th. I think it's due to worn sychro springs which apply pressure to the synchro dogs. That and bearing wear, allowing for motion (axial slop(?) which permits the gears to pop out of position. In my case, I feel that the weight of the gearshift lever (long) encourages this. Doesn't happen all the time. Ususally occurs on downgrade in 3rd when I ease off the gas, release load on gears. Helical cut may encourage this as well. I also have a Jtype installed. Love that OD.
