rattle in heater doors? 700 1987

Folks, I've got an '87 740 that has over the past several weeks, developed a strange little quirk. When I move the vent position switch from "floor" to "panel" or back, I hear a rattling sound down in there somewhere. Tried to pull a center dash vent, and look inside, but didn't see anything. It almost sounds like two of the flappers are trying to rub or hit together. Then after they move to where ever I put the switch, anytime I hit a bump in the road, I hear a rattling sound from the same area. Annoying to say the least. Any ideas? Thanks for the help..
