960-1997 engine idle shake 900

My Volvo 960 1997 with 122,000 miles on it behaves really weird these days. The check engine light came on and my car started to shake a little bit while idling. I tried to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery. The check engine light was off for 2-3 days but the shake didn't go away. Now the light came on again and the car shakes only when idle. The shake goes away when RPM is 1500 or more. Also, when the car is idle it doesn’t feel like only 5 out 6 cylinders work because the shake is very mild.
Does anyone know what can be a problem? a sensor, an ignition coil, or a spark plug?
