what to use to fix the headliner? 900

Once the foam backing of the headliner disintegrates, there is no good repair. As Dick wrote, you need to replace the headliner. I have replaced four 700 series sedan headliners, and it is a big job. Not that you can't do it, but it takes some time and a good clean, dry place to work. I would rather do a 700/900 series heater core replacement than do a headliner. For reference, 700 series heater core replacements make 200 series blower motors look like a brief, easy project.
