stalling problem 900

Took my kids 91 940GLE today, gas was way low, so I filled it, took 14.9 gallons (in a 15.8 gal. tank). Ran a few errands, then on the way home, got to a traffic light, and it stalled. Cranked it a few times, and it started. Got to another traffic light a few minutes later, stalled again. Drove fine the rest of the way home (stopped at several traffic lights). Took it out later, stopped a few times, it never stalled. Upon returning home, I stopped it in the driveway and it stalled again. I let it sit for a moment, cranked it, and it started.
Is it possible that with the tank so low, I have a vapor lock? Other thoughts I had were that I got some bad gas (I put in some dry-gas this evening after the last time it stalled), or that the tank was so low some crap got into the line.
Any ideas, or may I be on the right track?
Thanks
