lost my 960, differences w/ 940T 900

Over the weekend, had a mishap with my '94 960. It's totalled. I know all the problems with 960s and had dealt with most of them, some preventative, some not. I have a chance to pick up a 945T wagon w/ 91k for about $7k from a friend of a friend. Are the rear main seal problems just as bad with the 960's? I know the Nivomats are not an issue w/ 940's...what about those damn front bushings? I also know it's not an interference engine, but still want to know about the timing belt interval w/ '94 940's. I don't want to start a 960 v. 940 battle royale here, just want to know if there are some of the same issues (or any others) I need to look out for. Of course, I will be taking it to an indy dealer for a pre-purchase inspection, but I want to point out the impt things and make sure they are well-looked into before I get myself into a money pit. I am not sure how many records there are on the car, he's only had it about 2 years...it was his ex-chickie's ride, and she bolted on him.
thanks,
-Nick
