I own an 82 DL with K-Jet and for years I had cold start issues. The main problem turned out to be the injector seals (o rings) were shot. When I took them off they were all dry and hard from age and heat. The rings are not expensive and are easy to change. There are other things that can cause the your problem but if the seals have never been changed it is certainly time.
