Pertronix Electronic Ignition 1800

I don't see why FI would affect the connection of the electronic ignition. On the SU cars there is only one wire (white) to the dizzy, and it comes from the negative side of the coil. I would think that if the FI cars had more wires to the dizzy you would just leave them conected as is and connect the ignition unit to the white coil wire just like the SU cars. Anyone else have input on this???

Just as a follow up... I have noticed that the tach seems more accurate now with the electronic ignition. Strange what you notice when you change things around.
