Automatic Shift knob removal... 200 1984

I'm replying since no-one else has.

I don't know how to get the shifter knob off. I also don't know where the OD relay is. I suspect, however, that the OD relay itself may need to be resoldered. Search the archives for info on this.

I think that the shifter knob only holds the micro switch for the od and the associated wires - the OD relay is likely to be under the dash somewhere.

Perhaps someone else can provide more information and correct anything I've said thats wrong.
