940 Girling caliper guide pin grease 900 1991

Definitely pick up a tube of sil-glide at the parts store. It will serve you much better than will normal grease. However, in a bind, you can definitely use brake grease like most of the automakers package in their own containers. It doesn't hold up quite as well, but in my experience it holds up well enough.

For best results, grease the guide pins twice a year. It sounds silly, but it is much worse trying to hunt down a caliper bracket on a Sunday afternoon, after your guide pin broke off inside the bracket.

Five minutes per side, much aggravation saved from never having to replace them.
