Dies on Cold Drive Away 700 1989

All other LH injected Volvos I have had experince with (4 different cars) can be driven away as soon as they are started. My "new" '89 740 turbo requires about two minutes of at idle (idles ok) before it can be driven away. If you try to drive away without it running for a couple of minutes it will die, but always restarts immediately. Runs just fine when warm.

What should I check out to track this down?

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Mike
