Flame Trap Question 700

I have a simple question. I'm changing the flame trap on my B230F as it was quite dirty. I really don't want to mess anything up, and was wondering if the stubby little hose to the breather box that attaches at the bottom of the flame trap is attached to anything inside the breather box. I'm afraid to yank it up, pull something apart, and have someone more knowledgable and more expensive have to fix it for me. The instructions on the 700-900 FAQ are fairly straightforward, I just want to make sure that the hose isn't attached, or how to get it off best so I can put this nice little new flame trap I have here in. Thanks so much for your time!
