NO MUSIC 700 1988

There I was in the middle of a Fleetwood Mac song and the radio died. What's up with my factory-installed FM radio? It comes and goes (a whack on the dash sometimes brings it back) and the tape player plays so slowly everything sounds like it's being sung by a cyborg. AM seems to work OK. My heater used to make a funny hissing sound which stopped about the same time my radio started acting up. Any connection do you think?

I saw something of the FAQ about a bad diode, but with intermittent music I'm not sure that's the problem. Would it be a loose wire? Bad fuse? Anyone think I need a new radio?

Other than this glitch the car runs great.

Thank you all.
