760 making oil

hey guys,
have an 89 760 makin oil. It is definately fuel in the oil.
Checked the fuel injectors, both rails were still full of
gas, i would think that one side would be dry if one of
the injectors was failing,

could it be a fuel pressure regulator?

or perhaps
the thermo time switch? perhaps due to the cold start part.

or the fuel pressure dampner (can't even find it)?

the idle control valve?

def working at least some, the ohms are a little high,
but runs worse unplugged.

symtoms of note.
vacuum line at cruise control 'came loose'.
runs fine for 4 seconds upon cold startup.
runs like dogshit for 4-7 minutes after cold start.
runs fine the rest of the drive. save for a tendancey
to stall at lights if stopped 'quickly'
(esp when really warmed up.)
but perhaps due to the fuel in oil part.

i intend to change oil asap, but if its just gonna do
it again, would prefer to nip it in the bud.

any help i'd be obliged.
