ok... I want your recommendations on struts and shocks! 700 1988

Gang,

So I'm going to replace my struts and shocks and I am a penny pincher... I went to the junkyard yesterday and got an "education" on how to remove and reinstall a strut on a volvo... as well as ball joints, tie rods, etc.

at any rate, it's a bitch of a job... not hard, but just lots of labor. SO I was wondering, instead of being cheap and buying the lowest price strut I can find, maybe it would better to put some decent struts in there.

Keep in mind, I am not upgrading the swaybars, I'm not putting in strut braces etc at this time, but I'm not ruling it out for the future. I am redoing all of the tie rods, ball joints, etc.

So, give me a recommendation. How much better handling and performance am I going to get from something like Bilstiens instead of KYB gas adjusts?

Mike
