Changing fuel filter... 700

I was reading the FAQ on changing the fuel filter for a 740, and since mine hasn't been changed in about 70,000 miles and 6 years (PO left some things behind!), and I won't be using it as a daily driver for another couple weeks, I figured it'd be a good idea to go underneath and replace it. As to be expected, the Brickboard's 7xx/9xx FAQ is fairly straightforward and I'm good at following instructions. I'm headed out to get the right tools for the job, and am just curious as to how difficult this would be for a beginner who has only been tried in the areas of flame trap replacement, and various fluid and filter changes under the hood. (But I'm a quick learner!) I've got my Haynes manual in front of me, as well as printouts of Brickboard texts, and if anyone's got any advice - things I should replace/check while in the vicinity - your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much - ya'll are starting to prove invaluable!
