Crankcase pressure weirdness... 200

When I bought my 1991 245, the flame trap and the brass nipple into the intake manifold were blocked, so the car was running with positive crankcase pressure. I replaced the flame trap and cleaned the nipple, and all was well.

This past week, the rear main seal started leaking. I loosened the oil cap, and it "dances" while the car is idling, indicating that the car is again running under positive crankcase pressure. I checked the flame trap and the nipple, and even removed and checked the oil trap, and all were clear. I'm at a loss as to where the problem could be at this point. Any suggestions?
