the tackweld broke on the firewall nut for the strut tower braces! 200

So who has a good solution for this? My homemade braces are looking really good, and I got the first one in no problem. The second brace looked good but as I was torqueing the nut, the bolt that is tackwelded on the inside of the firewall snapped off it's weld. I got the bolt out just barely but now am trying to figure out how to get something in there. I don't think it goes to the inside of the car, so am I going to have to drill out a hole somewhere nearby the hole and then hold a bolt in place from the back? that's what i'm thinking i'll have to to...if anyone has a better solution, i'm all ears!
thanks again
