1985 244GL or 1983 242DL? 200

I'm now stuck choosing between two cars (i'm looking for a cheap 2xx series with a manual transmission).
One is a 1985 244GL, blue/blue with 139500 miles on it. It looks to be in great shape. I'm curious about the engine though, this vehicle is the GL model by the way. Does it have the B230F or the B23? How similar would it be to my 1988?
The other vehicle is a 1983 242DL, yellow/brown with 175000 miles. It has the turbo wheels on it, and appears to be in fairly good condition.
Basically, i'm just asking which of these vehicles would be a better bet, i'm leaning towards the 244 right now, esp. since i believe it has the B230, which my mechanic will work on, but it sure is hard to pass on a 242 now that i've found one nearby. Thanks for the help.
