Sears and Virgos 200 1979

Hi All. I just yesterday got 4 new tires fron Sears. I was able hang around the 2-18 year old tire techs as they installed them on my Virgos. I thought I read, or maybe I am hallucinating (*again*), that Sears isn't the place to take a Brick. They told me that my rim was odd and that they had to put it in the machine upside down. Is that normal? I haven't noticed anything wrong, but I havent looked closely. I did a archive search, I hope I didn't miss anything. I am not THAT worried about it. I would certinly HATE to have my Virgos damaged, but I needed the tires that day. I was low on $$$ so I had to charge them. Any insight on this topic?....They also wouldn't do an alignment 'cuz the rack is shot..but that's another story! Thanks guys and gals.
