Heater Blower Fan Motor Advice - 'Fix' or replace?? 200 1984

Hi All,

Over the past week my car has developed a nasty squealing sound from my blower fan motor. I have heard from a friend that there is a quick fix where you can oil something and prolong the life a little. Where can I find more information on this? I hear the replacement of the motor is a real pain and for the time being I just need to get through the next four months or so - Christmas has drained my bank account... Does anyone know how to do this quick fix? What lube would I use? How long will it take? How long will my squealing fan last without repair? Any advice or direction would be appreciated. Thanks.
