1. The fuel pump is: Bosch System - under floor and in tank just like the 240; Regina System - in tank only. The Bosch system spark coil has the familiar cylinder shaped coil and an AMM, the Regina system coil is combined with the ignition stage and is mounted on the driver's side, looks sort of square there is no AMM.
2. The fuses are behind the ash tray
3.Most relays are in a tray behind the fuses. The fuel system relay is the left relay in the middle row. To reach these, pry off the cover on the cigar lighter and remove the two screws behind it. The lighter and its box slide out.
I'm new to my 940 and more up on 240s also. I had an intermittent no-start and I believe the crank position sensor was the cause. Other common causes are the fuel system relay (like the 240, try resoldering) and the "radio suppression relay" (bad name). There isn't room here to go into how to check these. I got great help from the 700/900 FAQ. Click on FEATURES above then click on the FAQ. In the FAQ you can find references to no-start problems and also where to find parts in your car. Good luck, it's a nice car.
