940 1993 wont start but will turn 900

I tried that (checking for spark) when my 940 died. I had no spark, so I thought it was the coil. After going to the dealer to buy a coil (lucky for me, they had none) I spoke to the mechanic there who said is not the coil, but probably the crank sensor. Replaced the crank sensor, and I had spark, and it started.
