No spark - again ! 200 1985

A couple of years ago the car would lose spark only after running a good while while running and it turned out to be a bad Hall sensor . This time it does it when cold ( just sometimes won't start either ) I have checked the sensor with an ohm meter and I think it's OK . I suspect a loose connection but the ECU and Hall sensor connections are clean and snug . It seems like I remember hearing something from a gut at Voluparts in Atlanta about a connection which often gets messed up and causes these symptoms but I can't remember and of the details of the conversation . I need some help in figuring this out - thanks
