Ticking and Power Loss Help 700 1989

Sounds like you have a twofold problem. Check the exhaust manifold gasket for the ticking noise. A common failure in the turbos is the number three cylinder gasket leaking. For the loss of power check all the hoses leading from the turbo through the intercooler into the intake manifold. One of them is either loose, or has a hole.

Good luck,

-Eric
