240 brakes onto 140 140-160

Hi All,

Have been looking through the archives quite thoroughly. I am trying to find any info regarding installing 240 brakes onto a 140 as 240 parts are alot easier to get here in oz for little $$$ plus I have a donor 240 ready to go.

Have read a few threads that talk about having to grind some of the material off the 240 front caliper to fit it.

I was just wondering is it possible to fit the complete front and rear 240 discs and calipers onto a 140 if so what is involved, and does it alter the track of the car, if so by how much?

If anyone has a site with pics that would be great.

Cheers,

Daz
