960 front struts 900 1997

Can anyone tell me if the front suspension on 960s was changed from 94 to 97? I am trying to buy some aftermarket strut inserts and all the local shops can only find Koni or Boge or Bilstein listed for 1992 to 1995. What gives as I thought the front suspensions on 940s and 960s were all the same? Thought of ordering mail order from the USA, but many companies will not mail to Canada and the border brokerage fees are astronomical!!
