Radio install? 700 1990

Smokin!

That Blaupunkt is very much like the one I own, which is an 'Ontario' with a 10 disc CD changer and 4x40 Watts per channel RMS. Seeing the pics gives me hope that I will eventually be able to fit it into my 1990 745 :)

Did you have to start from scratch with the wiring, or did you manage to get an adaptor harness to mate with the car's loom? I am curious as I am no auto electrician and there don't want to cut and splice too many wires...

Also, where is the best place to site a CD changer in a 745? In the one of the wells in the load area? I was thinking about putting it under a front seat, but there is no clearance.
