Replaced everything, still no power to distributor 200 1985

Mike, After 2 months I would be looking for a mechanic more familiar with Volvos.
Yes, there are some sleeves which fit over the pins of the ignition cable where they attach to the ignition controler on the left fender. They are not used on all of the pins for some reason. Find a running 240 of similar year and check for the pins. A salvage yard of a good volvo parts man can provide these pins.
Sounds like someone may need to take the wiring schematic and start a systematic check of all of the wiring.
