rrr, rrr, rrr /bucking 240 when it's real cold 200 1993

hello,
got a concern and question about my wonderful 240 '93 Classic wagon. Car has an automatic trans. So I live where it gets cold in the winter and snowy. When it's about 0 degrees or colder outside, my car doesn't seem to be happy after it's started (after sitting overnight). This is what happens... Starts just fine. Continues to run and after a few minutes the car seems to start bucking forward and there's a particular rrr, rrr, rrr sound that comes with the forward bucking feeling. I then try to shift the car through P, R, N, D, 2, and 1. This doesn't seem to help. Finally, I put it into Drive, and start out. For a good while (approx. 15 min.) as I'm driving the car continues to do the same rrr-bucking thing if I have to come to a stop. I've noticed if I have to stop, foot on the brake, that if I ease up on the brake just enough to keep the car from going that it doesn't do the funny biz (that is after the 15 min. or so are up and the engine seems well warmed). If I press harder on the brake it resumes the rrr-bucking. Car runs great otherwise. Any ideas out there?
