CB Radio Problems 700

See my last post to your installation questions. Mounting radios of any kind are difficult in the 700/900 volvos because of the positions of interior pieces like dash kick panels and the center console. The only viable place is if you dont have power seats is to fabricate a bracket and replace the little "fry holder" on the left side of the drivers seat and route the cables under the seat and follow the kick mouldings to cover the cables. I dont know what the DX111 radio is exactly but I would imagine its one of the full size Cobra cases with that 3 pin power connector and side mounted mic connector. I have an early 148GTL that I had used for a road trip and stuffed it down the side near the console but nothing perminant.

Sorry I cant be of more help, I do some radio installs but they are limited to Impalas and Crown Vics, wish we could get Volvos again but I dont see that happeneing.
