850 wheels on 140 140-160

Hi Everyone,

Riding on 165 rubber is getting tiresome........ I want to put wider rims on my '68 142 and wider rubber. I know I have read a few places that 850 wheels fit 140's and actually suit them better than 240 wheels (as they have a better offset).

Before I go out and buy some 850 mags I just want to confirm that this is correct.

Do all 850 wheels fit 140's without modification?

Cheers,

Daz
