Thanks for the compliment. You are indeed correct, my friend Achim Mueller of ACM Elektronik in Germany has created a proprietary replacement for the custom hybrid chip in the LH modules that we use when we rebuild these modules. It is quite an achievement and speaks very highly Achim's technical capabilities.

It turns out that there are several LH module variants that use the hybrid chip, so it isn't just Volvo. There are several Saab models and the Porsche 928 that are also affected by growing LH module failure! So the market is somewhat more broad than it first appears.

The important thing is we don't want whole automobile product lines to "grind to a halt" because of an electronic defect. Electronic Repair, Inc. and ACM Elektronik are servicing those who want to keep their Volvos, Saabs and Porsches running!
