CB Radio Problems 700

Mine is mounted to the left of the steering wheel below the dash. Its against the slanted section of the dash, and from there I can tap the console for power and wire it pretty easily. Works well and is easily driver accessible, but it can be a little tight for the left leg.

Something I though of after someone else asked this question recently was that you could cut a section out of the plastic of teh center console and mount it there. If you did it well it would work really well... basically you would cut a section to fit from the center console forward of the seat belt socket and towards teh driver from teh parking brake. You would have to cut the side the of the console and a little of teh black inner piece that goes under the ebrake. You could also cut a hole in the bottom of the arm rest pocket and slip it in there. That would let you close it up when you're not using it too.

good luck,
rt
