Torque vs HP vs Acceleration explained 1800

On my 142, b20 DGV equipped, I find the power peak to be somewhere around 5400, because of the tiny carb on it. Even with this carb though, when i want to accelerate my fastest, i still take it up to 6000 rpms. Once i even went up to 6500. Sure it didn't sound too great without much muffling and no sound deadening, but it was alive, even though it couldn't really breathe. I can't wait until i get my dual Sus on it and regularly take it up to 6500, it will be MUCH faster. And by much i mean, somewhat... Much for an old Volvo, lol.
