the right hand turn signal and the door buzzer have conspired against me! 200

I've been overseas for the last 3 1/2 months (the middle east, but not Iraq). While I saw many nice volvos (including a really well-kept 740 turbo diesel with a 5-speed), I didn't see my own 82 240 DL for the whole time. I charged one of my family members with the task of taking it for a ride every 2 or 3 weeks, which he did.

So today I gave her a thorough inspection and then fired her up. She did very well. Much to my disappointment, her previous problems were still there (hard start, trouble finding idle). The only new problem she developed involves the right hand turn signal and the door buzzer.

The turn signal flashes at about double speed. Same story with the buzzer, but sometimes it doesn't buzz at all (I'm actually kinda pleased that the annoying buzzing that normally continues after you've inserted the key has ceased). Anyway, I would like my turn signal to be off hyper speed. Any thoughts on the source of the problem? Could the cold weather be a factor. The car and I are normally in California, but we're wintering in New Jersey. Perhaps the freezing temperatures have caused her to get upset with me. At least they didn't effect the motor!
