Injector Leak 140-160

So I found out why my 1972 142E smells like gasoline and has been getting bad mileage, there is a pinhole sized leak on the number 2 injector spraying gas onto the intake and exhaust manifolds. So I guess now is as good a time as any to explore the fuel injection system on these cars. So my question is, since I've never done ANY thing with the fuel injection on either this car or my 1800ES, where do I start? What do I do about this problem? Obviously not drive it to work tomorrow. And another question, on the issue of fuel injection maintenance, how do I maintain the system? How do I clean the injectors and how do I know when to clean them? Thank you for all your help guys, honestly you have all helped me learn a new skill and hobby, so keep the advice coming and I'll keep learning. Thanks again.
