Sylvania Xtra Vision, Is it better than standard halogen 200 1982

I was at an autoparts store this afternoon and noticed these Sylvania Xtra Vision sealed beams. They are the rectagular type (4 headlights) and are the low beam. Advertizing claims 3 times brighter light than normal sealed beams or something like that.

My car has the common halogen headlight right now.

What is your experience with the Xtra Vision? Are they much more efficient?

The price seems right so I am tempted to buy a pair for low beams.
