Turbo Problems 700 1989

Hello,

I have a couple of questions: when you say "it moves into boost" does this mean your turbo gauge is going into the yellow? Does it bog down before it dies, certain rpm range, if you let up on the gas ever so slowly does it make a difference? Will it go into OD at that time? Do you have any black or blue smoke? When it dies what happens to your rpm gauge?

If your boost gauge isn't going into the yellow then it could be your wastegate. It could be stuck open, etc. But there are other things you can check before that depending on the exact symptoms you are having.

Best Regards,

Anastasia
