240 Steering wheel swap.. does a 1980 fit into a 1989? 200

Here I try and get a nice 240 wagon for my daughter so I can get my favorite car in the world back (she's driving my '79 242 4 sp), and she's complaining that the steering wheel is "too small".

The "new" car is an '89. I happen to be junking a rusty and very worn out '80 wagon, and if she really wants, and if it really can be done.. I'd swap that wheel for her. Sounds kinda crazy, but hey... I'm crazy about my daughter and anything for her is fine with me.

Thanks for your thoughts in advance.
Larry
