Electrical Gremlins 200 1985

Hi all..My 240DL wagon (automatic) has taken to having some strange things happening. It starts alright, but idles really really rough. Now the turn signals don't work, the fuel gauge is on E (with a full tank) and the temp gauge is C no matter how long it runs. When you listen to it idle, you can hear it surge and then drop back, I think my friend referred to it as loping.(?)

The fuses all look to be in order, but we're kind of at a loss here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ames
