940 Euro headlights 900

My 940 vs deer is still here in a damaged condition. Finally been with the insurance co. and several estimates, ranging from $3700 to 4200. I have a check in my hand for $2700. I can take the money and fix it myself, or take it to their guaranteed shop and forget the hassle of doing it myself, chasing parts, etc.
My big concern is that I need to upgrade the headlights. I don't really want to add aftermarket add-ons which rarely work as well as factory type installations. Shake loose, cheesy switches, etc.
I've been to Bram's site and his stuff looks good to me. My dilemma is this. I got a bushel basket of broken plastic parts to hold all the bits and pieces and have no idea what parts I'd need to buy to mount Euro or US headlights, grill, etc. Is there a place with the knowledge I need and a parts source? What do you think about the possibility of finding a hood the same color so I don't have to deal with painting?
I'd hate to take the money and run, then find out I've opened a Pandora's box and can't find parts I need.
My skill level is so so. I can change a cylinder head, or transmission, but I'm limited to mechanical things. True body work is a black art to me.
Thanks for any advice.
