Did tune up myself; now I have problems and need help. 200 1983

-Make sure you check your grounds (if any) where the accident occured

-Did you replace or patch up the cracked hose?

-Maybe you sucked in some water after the car was washed.

All of these could be contributing fators to what may be happening with the stalling. Try some dry gas and take a look at the distributor cap again. Make sure the coil wire is okay. These are just little things that can be ruled out of the whole equation if they turn out to be okay.
