more electrical gremlins 200 1992

ok, so at first i was convinced it was the wires in the tailgate hinges that were bad. So i disconnected them today and suprise suprise, my car died on me in it's usually fashion. Now i have really no idea where to go, but i have one thought. My ABS light on the dash is always on, now the brake lights also come of that circut and my problems only occure when the lights are on and when i step on the brakes, it puts a big drain on the battery. Any thoughts?
