I tried to replace the headliner on my 744GLE with a sunroof and I blew it. The headliner board was brittle enough that when I tried to carefully angle it out of the front passenger window, as the IPD instructions said, it cracked and came apart. Ultimately what I did was put the pieces in the trunk, put the IPD roll of fabric in the car, and got a local auto upholstery place to do it for me. It cost me $325 plus the $110 for the IPD kit, in addition to my taking care of reinstalling all trim pieces in the interior. I might try to do my wagon at some point in the future, but the sedan was a BEAR.
