Condenser fan air flow direction and fan relay location? 700

Hello Folks,

I just replaced the condenser fan on my 1989 Volvo 740GL with one off another Volvo (1988 760GLE). Are these electric fans in front if the rad/condenser supposed to blow into the engine compartment or away from the Engine towards the grill? The replacement fan I have has the identical wiring harness and wire markings but the fan blows outward?? This seems weird but I can't compare it to the old seized unit. Can some one verify the air flow direction of the factory fan, thanks?

Plus there was an old thread about unfused fan wiring and I want to fuse the B+ of the fan relay. My 1989 has only one relay on the Rad exp tank and I think that that is the Radio suppression relay. Where is the "fan relay" located (it is not on the driver side strut tower either)? Any help on both these items would be greatly appreciated since it will help me get the A/C running for this coming summer. (ok, I am a bit anxious about hotter weather!!)

Thanks,

Tim.
